75 Cute Chihuahua Tattoos
What's your favorite breed of dog?
There are hundreds of dog breeds and easily one of the most polarizing is the Chihuahua. Love them or hate them, Chihuahuas are one of the most popular breeds to own. They’re named after the Mexican state of Chihuahua and were officially recognized by the American Kennel Club in 1904. Chihuahuas are one of the smallest dog breeds, with some weighing under three pounds.
Chihuahuas are known for their apple-dome shaped heads, large round eyes and erect ears. They come in virtually any color or coat pattern, as well as long and short haired varieties. They’re also renowned for having an above-average aggression level, which is common among many small dog breeds.
Chihuahuas have been frequently depicted throughout television and film, in both live action and animated roles. Some of the most famous film Chihuahuas include Chloe and Papi from “Beverly Hills Chihuahua,” Bruiser Woods from “Legally Blonde” and Pepe from “The Secret Life of Pets.” We also cannot forget Ren from “The Ren & Stimpy Show” and Gidget, the Taco Bell Chihuahua.
