Orlando Bloom Got a Tattoo for His Late Dog
Take a look at Orlando Bloom's touching new tattoo
Orlando Bloom lost his dog Mighty several days ago and took to Instagram to share the news, writing “I don’t recall a time in my life where I’ve been so broken wide open. The rawness I have felt over these past few days and sleepless nights at the idea of my little man being lost and scared, with me unable to do anything to protect him, is a waking nightmare. ” Bloom’s dog went missing one week ago and many midnight searchs, only his collar was found and Bloom revealed that he had passed on, sharing “Mighty’s on the other side now.” Mighty was a toy poodle that Bloom adopted in 2017 and has been inseparable with ever since.
After announcing that he had stopped searching for Mighty, Bloom took to Instagram to share a tribute tattoo. Bloom had “Mighty” alongside an ace of spades in a heart inked over his heart. Bloom sought out celebrity tattoo artist Scott Campbell for the piece and share several photos of the tattoo process. Bloom took to Instagram to thank the people who helped him search for Mighty, which included the volunteers of Dog Days Search and Rescue, as well as his tattoo artist. “Thank you to the community for allowing me to search through their yards for him and supporting my midnight walks,” Bloom shares. “It was reassuring to see the best of people even in the worst of times. To the angels of @dogdayssar I’m forever in your debt. You ladies are heaven sent. Lastly thank you to @scottcampbell for the ink. I love you brother.”
