Shawn Mendes Debuts Huge New Tattoo

Shawn Mendes is a Canadian singer-songwriter who gained popularity in 2013 by posting music on Vine. Since then, he’s released three studio albums, headlined three world tours, and acquired 48.3 million Instagram followers before turning 21.

Like many in young Hollywood, Mendes has added to his tattoo collection over time and while on his Shawn Mendes: The Tour route, he visited tattoo artist Livia Tsang for a brand new piece. The tattoo imagery was first shown to Mendes through fan art from Twitter, using an original design by Chilean artist Mac Dreaper. Mendes was so inspired by the art, he reached out for the original drawing and wound up get it permanently tattooed on his arm, in the exact same place as the fan edit.
