Woman Sets World Record With 16 Eminem Portrait Tattoos
Nikki Patterson's love of Eminem, as seen through her extensive Slim Shady-themed tattoo collection, rivals that of even the infamous Stan.
Nikki Patterson is, without a doubt, the world’s biggest Eminem fan. This isn’t just hyperbole. We, as the kids say, “have the receipts” in the form of 16 portrait tattoos dedicated to the real Slim Shady.
The Guinness Book of World Records has proclaimed that Patterson, of Aberdeen, Scotland, has more portrait tattoos of one musician than anyone else in the world. Patterson has quite an extensive tattoo collection with over 50 separate pieces, 28 of which are related to the rapper. But it was her 15 portraits of Eminem—she has since added one more—that put her into the record books.
One thing that stands out about Patterson’s collection of Eminem tattoos is the quality—they’re pretty good tattoos! Some folks, like that guy with all of the Miley Cyrus tattoos, are so obsessed by their fandom they don’t put any actual thought into the tattoos. Patterson is the opposite, visiting well-respected artists like David Corden and Yarson in her tattoo journey.
Over the years, we’ve seen plenty of tribute tattoos to musicians like Kurt Cobain, Drake and Biggie Smalls, but we’ve never encountered one fan so dedicated to a single musician. It’s cool that Patterson has chosen to show her devotion to Eminem through a tattoo collection as opposed to writing him obsessive letters and committing a murder/suicide. Don’t be like Stan, be like Nikki.

Tattoo enthusiasts often claim addiction, but true addiction involves chemical and psychological dependence. Obsessive love for tattoos is not the same as addiction.
