Today’s Inked Girl of the Day comes to us from the Land Down Under, Melbourne to be exact. Hardy Bruce is a fiery redhead (albeit a shade closer to “fire engine” than “ginger”) who is the life of the party on the outside but full of mystery on the inside. If you are looking to figure out the mystery that is Hardy you can start by analyzing her ink—most of her work has a symbolic meaning behind it.
“My favorite tattoo would have to be my two birds on my lower stomach,” Hardy explains. “They represent dominance, letting myself be in control of my own life. The pink bird shows control and a tougher look, where the blue bird shows more of a softer and subtle look, it reminds me to be me and free.”
Some of Hardy’s other tattoos represent strength (the tiger girl on her forearm), the passage of time (a watch with wings), and the importance of music (a microphone). You can get a good look at her bird tattoos and the rest of her ink as you peruse the sexy photos on her Inked Girls profile.
One of the most striking pieces that Hardy has would be her “Day of the Dead” themed sleeves. While the subject matter is quite prevalent in the tattoo world, Hardy and her tattooist (Ian Marra) have worked together to make sure that her work is unique. By putting their own twist on the theme Hardy has been left with a sleeve that fits her perfectly.
You can see all of the lovely Hardy’s photos on her Inked Girls profile here. If you think that you have what it takes to be our next Inked Girl of the Day please submit your portfolio here.
