Inked Man of the Month July 2026: Leon Scott Wears His Story With Purpose
From professional football to boxing, business, and fatherhood, Leon Scott's tattoos tell the story of a life built on faith, resilience, and purpose.
Leon Scott has lived several lives in one.
The former professional footballer has successfully transitioned into fitness modeling, amateur boxing, entrepreneurship, and online coaching, all while building one of the UK’s fastest-growing eyewear brands. But beyond the accomplishments, Scott says his greatest title will always be father.
Every chapter of that journey is reflected in his tattoos.
The Meaning Behind Leon Scott’s Tattoos
For Scott, tattoos have never been about filling space. They’ve always been about telling a story.
His appreciation for meaningful ink began with an unlikely source: David Beckham.
“Seeing David Beckham’s angel back piece completely changed the way I looked at tattoos,” Scott says. “I realized they could represent your journey, your family, your faith, and the moments that shape you.”
Inspired by Beckham’s approach to storytelling through tattooing, Scott got his own first piece in 2004, an exact replica of Beckham’s winged cross.
Looking back, he sees that tattoo as the beginning of something much bigger.
“What started as admiration eventually became my own story.”
Today, every tattoo across his body represents a different chapter of his life, from family and personal growth to challenges overcome and lessons learned.
Faith at the Center
While each piece holds significance, one tattoo stands above the rest.
Scott’s full-back portrait of Jesus represents the defining moment in his life: his decision to be baptized and dedicate his life to Christ.
“It reflects the greatest story of my life,” he says. “My journey of faith, redemption, and the person I’m continually striving to become.”
For Scott, the tattoo serves as a daily reminder of God’s grace, hope, and the peace he found through faith.
“It isn’t about having an impressive tattoo,” he says. “It’s about carrying a visible reminder of the foundation I now build my life upon.”
His next tattoo will continue that deeply personal approach.
Rather than rushing the design, Scott is carefully planning a piece dedicated to his son, Cruz, one he hopes will capture not only fatherhood but the bond they share.
“I want it to tell a story, not just be a name or a date.”
Built on Discipline
Outside the tattoo studio, Scott continues to challenge himself.
Following his football career, boxing became his new outlet, giving him another arena to test both his body and mind. At the same time, he co-founded Circulr, a premium eyewear brand that continues to grow across the UK, while helping others transform their health through his Peak Performance coaching program.
Still, despite his busy schedule, Scott values quiet moments just as much as ambition.
“People are surprised that I actually enjoy my own company,” he says. “Those moments help me stay grounded.”
His perspective has been shaped by personal loss, reflection, and a constant desire to grow, not only professionally but personally.
Inked Man of the Month July 2026 Looks Ahead
Being named Inked Man of the Month is something Scott sees as recognition of more than just his tattoos.
“They’re a timeline of my life,” he says. “Every piece represents a lesson, a challenge, or a milestone that has shaped who I am.”
Looking ahead, Scott is preparing for another amateur boxing match while continuing to expand Circulr with new product launches and brand partnerships.
But ask him about his biggest project, and the answer comes without hesitation.
“It’s being a father,” he says. “More than any business or achievement, I want to raise my son to be kind, respectful, humble, and ambitious.”
For Leon Scott, tattoos are permanent reminders of the moments that matter most. Together, they tell the story of a man whose greatest accomplishments aren’t measured by titles or trophies, but by the legacy he’s working to leave behind.
