Here at Inked, we cover tattoos of all shapes and sizes. Sure, micro tattoos are the moment right now, but it’s time to think big. REALLY big. The human body is a canvas and when it comes to the largest part of that canvas, you really can’t go bigger than the back.

Back tattoos are one of, if not the largest parts of the body you can tattoo. It’s prime real estate, as it’s a large flat surface and artists have the ability to really go all out with an intricate piece. A backpiece is a big commitment, both in time and cash. You need to really be sure of what you want, because more often than not you’ll be sitting for multiple sessions. But, let me tell you, there’s nothing more satisfying than a finished backpiece. Just go to a tattoo convention and see all the shirtless dudes proudly showing theirs off!
