This Barber Creates Celebrity Portraits Using His Client’s Real Hair

If working for Inked Magazine has taught me anything, it’s that art comes in a seemingly endless amount of forms. Not only have I experienced art on the skin or on canvas, but I’ve had the privilege of witnessing visual artists who create masterpieces on extremely unconventional canvases. One of these artists happens to be Rob the Original, who creates breathtaking works of art as a licensed barber. 

Rob the Original has used his technical expertise as a professional barber and his unbelievable talents as an artist to create stunning celebrity portraits using his client’s real hair. He’s recreated every big star, from rapper XXXTentacion to hip-hop heavyweight Cardi B, to Victoria’s Secret angel Elsa Hosk. And in addition to recreating the likeness of big-name stars, Original has also mastered channeling fine art legends such as Leonardo Da Vinci.
