10 Celebrities Who Have Secret Neck Tattoos
Did you know these stars have ink on their necks?
While everyone knows that musicians like Post Malone and Rihanna have tattoos on their necks, there are plenty of stars whose job stoppers have gone under the radar. We’ve found 10 of the biggest celebrities in Hollywood who’ve gotten neck tattoos and we bet you’ll be surprised by at least half of the entries on this list. Take a peek at the subtly visible ink in the gallery below, then let us know your thoughts on this story on social media.
Justin Bieber
On December 7th, 2019 Justin Bieber took the plunge with a large neck tattoo, seeking out the skills set of Dr. Woo. Many believed the “Forever” was a hint to his upcoming album, however, Bieber instead named that “Changes.” In addition to the word forever, Bieber also added a sparrow, a classic tattoo symbol that Woo modernized in his fine line style.
Ariana Grande
While it may not be a surprise that Grande has a neck tattoo, fans seldom notice the tiny crescent she has tattooed. Initially, Grande had intended on naming her third studio album “Moonlight,” after one of the tracks, however, she instead selected “Dangerous Woman.” Grande got this tattoo in April of 2015, long before her palm tattoo debauchery.
Selena Gomez
Now here’s a celebrity who actually got their album title tattooed on their neck. Gomez debuted her third studio album “Rare” on January 10th and just a few days later, got the word inked on the side of her neck by Bang Bang himself. She even replicated the exact font used in the album cover. This tattoo happened just a few months after Gomez got her thigh tattooed by Bang Bang prior to performing at the 2019 American Music Awards.
Demi Lovato
On December 16th, singer Demi Lovato revealed her own Dr. Woo neck tattoo, which is the word “Survivor” in elegant cursive script. The tattoo is representative of Lovato’s battle with addiction and mental health, as well as her sobriety. Lovato is expected to drop a new album in 2020, so who knows, maybe she’ll name her album after her tattoo?
Adam Levine
Although Adam Levine has been very tattooed for some time and even appeared on the cover of “Inked” back in the day, he’s only recently joined the neck tattoo crew. On November 1st, Levine debuted a black-and-grey flower tattoo on the side of his neck, which he credited to Los Angeles artist Sasha Masiuk. Then on January 4th, Levine revealed his second neck tattoo, which is a badass sacred heart design by Los Angeles artist Nathan Kostechko. What’s next? Maybe a face tattoo!
Miley Cyrus
At the end of 2019, following her breakup with actor Liam Hemsworth, Cyrus went on a tattoo rampage and collected a handful of new tattoos. One of these tattoos is her birth year on the side of her neck, which she got in extremely close proximity to her “Rock N Roll” heart and rose on each arm.
Hailey Bieber
Hailey Bieber is known for having dozens of tiny tattoos and on September 3rd, she added to her collection with the word “Lover” on the side of her neck. The piece was tattooed by Dr. Woo and sits just below the cross she had inked by JonBoy in April of 2018.
Halsey
Halsey is quite the tattoo enthusiast and never fails to impress us with her choices. The singer got her neck tattooed by JonBoy in January of 2018, getting the lyrics “I’m a loser baby,” from Beck’s 1993 hit “Loser.”
Sofia Richie
At just 18-years-old, Sofia Richie got her first neck tattoo by JonBoy in November of 2016. She got the word “Clarity” inked in all caps and has since gotten a number of small tattoos.
Noah Cyrus
Following in her sister’s footsteps, singer Noah Cyrus took the plunge in October of 2019 with the word “Momma” inked on the side of her neck. The piece was tattooed by JonBoy in NYC and also includes a fine line spider and web on her collarbone.
